First large cruise ship in Sitka for the 2009 season. The mayor greeted officers from the ship, bands played, Native and New Archangel Dancers performed, greeters were on the street visiting with visitors and the Chamber invited passengers and crew to lunch under the Crescent Harbor Shelter. The Westmark offered their Chowder Hut menu of hamburgers, hotdogs, chowder and chili. Local dance groups entertained.
