Dear Business Owner,

I’d like to invite you to become a member of the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce. Sitka’s Chamber is “a voluntary organization of business and community leaders, who promote, support and facilitate commerce and economic growth in the community”.  Our membership includes old and new Sitka businesses of all sizes, and we'd like you to be one of them.
The Chamber offers all of the following:

  1. Information: Weekly luncheons with speakers of local, state and national interest. A great opportunity for members to network with business and community leaders.
  2. Marketing/Advertising/Visibility:  Opportunities to promote your business on our website (which is constantly undergoing renovations) in our weekly e-newsletter, in our relocation packets and at special events. You are also invited to promote your business by donating a door prize and talking about your business at the weekly Chamber luncheons.
  3. Fun:  “Business After Hours” is an opportunity for new business exposure as well as existing businesses when expanding or moving to a new location. We are also increasing our exposure in the community, and generating excitement and sales, by sponsoring more fun events that you can be a part of, such as the Season’s End Celebration, the Wine & Beer Tasting, the Sitka Artisans Market and the Annual Banquet.
  4. Legislative Advocacy:  Informing and encouraging members to action at all levels of government.  Our staff and board members travel to Juneau each year during the legislative session to lobby for Sitka’s business and city priorities.

Chamber members play a vital role in our community through their time and financial contributions, and we strive to recognize them at every opportunity. It is the hard work and big hearts of Chamber members that help strengthen and diversify our economy. Investment in the Chamber is a smart decision for any company doing business in Southeast Alaska.
